Work Flow
- How to find api key from mailchimp?
- Navigate to profile >> extras>> api keys there user will find create new key.
- Navigate to >> email marketing >> mailchimp there user will find accounts.
- Navigate to >> new create a new account with necessary fields of mailchimp.
- After filling correct details you can verify the connection by clicking on test connection button.
- Manage the automation settings as per your need.
- Click on button sync merge fields from mailchimp to fetch the merge fields.
- By just click on add a line you can add the new fields to the mailchimp or you can also update the existing fields with just single click on the button sync to mailchimp.
- After that go to mailchimp operation menu.
- Create new operation
✅️select the account and import all fields which will be fetched from mailchimp and created the records in the respective menu of odoo accordingly. - After making operations you can see the logs also with the success and failure tag.
- After making operations the lists which is fetched from mailchimp , will automatically add records in mailing lists of Odoo.
- The records of lists which is fatched from mailchimp will also create inside the >> mailchimp >> lists menu.
- There also you can see the total contacts available in that list and with smart button which indicates the subscribed & unsubscribed contacts.
- Navigate to >> statistics page. where you can see the details of statistics with it's content.
- At lists/audience menu only navigate to >> filter export contact configuration page where you can apply filter at list level to update in mailchimp.
- Navigate to >> settings page. where you can see the details of lists/audience settings with user friendly toggle buttons to manage the nessasary settings directly from odoo.
- Navigate to >> mailchimp >> campaign menu. User can see the details of campaign with it's html content.
- Create mailchimp campaign ,
select mailchimp templates >> choose malichimp template.
Here, the email body will be selected with the chosen content - From the contacts of odoo , you can directly export the contacts to the desired list of mailchimp.
