Features

• The option selected in the MO Consumption Qty section of the configuration will affect on the consumption quantity of components.

Modify Final Product Quantity in MRP Application

• The Odoo app's manufacturing flexible finished goods quantity feature enables users to modify the quantity of finished products in the manufacturing.



The Amount Consumed According to the Planned Materials


Manufacturing Configurations

• User can select "The amount consumed according to the planned materials" option under Manufacturing > Configuration > Settings menu.
• By selecting this option, the components quantity will remains unchanged while user updates the finished product.
In manufacturing order, increase the quantity of the finished product

• The below MO is planned for one quantity. Components quantities are adjusted according to the planned quantity of main product.
Finished Product Quantity Update

• User can see the updated production quantity on the manufacturing order And the old quantity is stored in the Planned Quantity field.
• The components quantity are remains same.
Inventory Moves

• The finished product inventory moves are generated for the updated quantity but the components quantities are not changed.
Reduce the quantity of the finished product in the manufacturing order

• The below MO is planned for five quantity.

Quantity Consumed based on BOM's Final Product Proposal


Manufacturing Configurations

• User have to select "Quantity Consumed based on BOM's final product proposal" option under Manufacturing > Configuration > Settings menu.
• By selecting this option, the consumed product is modified based on the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the final product proposal.
In manufacturing order, increase the quantity of the finished product

• The below MO is planned for one quantity. Components quantities are adjusted according to the planned quantity of main product.

• User can see the updated production quantity on the manufacturing order And the old quantity is stored in the Planned Quantity field.
• The component quantity is changed according to planned quantity.
