Features
- Auto set Expiration Date in lot/serial number at production based on their components lot/serial in manufacturing and subcontracting orders.
- Raise a validation when the user tries to set a greater date than the closet date from the components lot/serial.
- This app works for normal manufacturing and subcontracting both orders.
Normal Manufacturing Order
- To auto-set the expiration date in lot/serial make sure the below product configurations are enabled.

- Create a manufacturing order of Drawer with the component Drawer Black and Drawer Case Black.

- All below date formats in MDY.
- Drawer Black expiration is 09/10/2024 and Drawer Case Black expiration dates is 09/15/2024 as shown.
- The closet expiration date from the above component is 09/10/2024 (Drawer Black).
- So whenever a lot will be produced for Drawer then Drawer Black (0000000010001) expiration date will be set in the newly produced lot of Drawer product.


- When the user validate the MO the expiration date will be automatically set in a newly produced lot as below.
- If user tries to set the greater date then 09/10/2024 then it will raise the validation.



Subcontracting Manufacturing Order
- The same way will be followed in the subcontracting process.
- Create a subcontracting PO for the product Office Lamp as below.


- Both components have a lot numbers with expiry date.
- Lamp Base(12345) have a closet expiry date 08/15/2024.


- Above both lots are used in the resupply transfer.
- When a user validates a receipt of P00013 and record a production for Office Lamp product then expiration date will be automatically set in Office Lamp product lot/serial.
- If user tries to set the greater date then 08/15/2024 then it will raise the validation.
